Hard News: LATE OCTOBER: Life in the…, in reply to
I may have.

Oh, yeah, Jackson and I decided that we should make a mandatory place and time for PASers to meet up, have a yak, what have you. What say the masses?

I simply could not do my job as well as I do were it not for my Macbook Pro. We write the childrens' assessments (or learning stories) using a programme called ComicLife. Faffing around with Word would just be painful, and it was those years ago. I don't have an iphone - too rich for my blood still - but my love of iPod knows no bounds. I have been a relatively recent convert to Macs, and Apple products. I first used an eMac about 11 years ago. And I haven't looked back since. So much easier to use. What I like best about Macs? Everything is on the surface - nothing is imbedded so deeply that it takes up humumgous amounts of space on your hard drive. Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I won't go into a rave here about Renaissance, and how direly out on a limb we NZers are in terms of Apple services.....

Wow. Just wow. That was amazing, Russ. A real pleasure. I loved the panel discussion - so interesting and I could have listened to them for hours more. And the drag afterwards was sublime. So great to see what goes into such dynamic performers. So so pleased I came, and my friend Steve loved it, also. Mate, you're a legend.

Is anyone else confused about how few National hoardings there are? In Mt Roskill, I've seen one (at my dog park, how rude). In Mangere, there appears to be none.

Hard News: Angry and thrilled about Arie, in reply to
I would have said demolition works, ppl masquerading as "emergency personnel" etc. There's a lot of construction ppl around. Those wld be your culprits, I would guess.

To be fair, JT, I think you'd need some pretty hard evidence to back that one up. Are they talking about demo workers? I find it very hard to believe that police, or fire personnel, or ambulance staff would be involved in looting.

Can I just give this event another plug? This great article was shared on my FB page - so in case you don't have FB....... it's one of the parts I'm most looking forward to, anyway. http://www.gaynz.com/articles/publish/34/article_10869.php

It is a stunning lightbox. Speaking of which, isn't it time for a BBQ at yours? And is that man of yours making any progress on my toilette?
