Here’s Charlie (c. 1962). His eyes light up, he pours a drink and smoke issues from his ears. Well, it once did–like all my tin toys, he is an orphan with failing faculties.

Credit where credit is due, an all that.
Roger is actually a Lamp made by a very good mate of mine called Andrew Palace who has a business called “Metal as Anything" in Grey Lynn behind Countdown on Williamson Ave. He has many such wonderful lamps, robots, spaceships and indescribables.

Very cool. As is your re-composition. The planes above did a few loops over the Waitemata yesterday. You could save them for future use. ;-)

My two year old daughter greeted this critter politely ("hello robot, how are you?") on a recent trip to the hospital. I suppose it is a bit anthropomorphic.

They are very cool Lilith. If that is a promo for Cronicle, or an ad, I don't care, bring it on :)

That is very cool, and clever. Having just watched the official Chronicle trailer though, it seems a whole lot more sinister.

"Have a friend who knitted a robot."

You mean my knitted sidekick littleROBOTbill (my online gaming name is bigROBOTbill), he was a pressie from my clever daughter, he arrived with his arms tied up with raffia so that he couldn't start world domination without me.
