It’s bloody gorgeous.
Great way to kick things off, Tom. That looks delicious.
Thanks for the inspiring post Robyn. I'm going to have to eat now.

Cripes, Tom, food that is back from the future. Smart stuff!

Hebe,
What an alluring Capture thread. I can feel the lipids rising.

May I recommend the work of Oxford food photographer blogger Bron Marshall?
Of course I may! -
So I was scrolling through the post thinking "man all these photos suck, better not comment", then I noticed the captions. So, good work with the bad examples. :)
I'm definitely a big food snapper, and although I upload very selectively, it's not usually photos I think people will like, it's things I want to make sure I don't forget.

Well, I could, but then the posts under it wouldn't make any sense. It is kind of cool. Food from the future.

Sorry Hebe, Alabama 3 are my food tonight. These guys got good reviews at Womad. Look forward to hearing them. That will be food enought for moi! Oh, maybe a glass of wine. Incidently those entrees are so easy to produce, Few jars. I do my own sundried toms but don't always have that so Nosh is luxury or Countdown achieves the same. The Turkish delight etc is by the kilo on Dominion Rd. I still call the place chef co. Not sure if that has changed.
Ok then, so this Paella is from a fisherman friend, Jim. He'll go fishing, then pop over and make dishes like this. Although Robyn says avoid the pots etc. It looked too good stovetop so photos ensued as many friends watched on. He did a chook one as well.
He's coming to Alabama 3 too :) -

Just to say that paella looks brillant - and I'll bet it tasted so too- -
I would've posted a shot of my excellent blue-cod fillets of last night's meal-with-the-naybores, battered, utterly delicious-
except they got eaten too quick...
