    It’s been an interesting day.

    Here’s to you and yours

Re-viewing the thread, saw this one of yours anew.
Uplifting gaze from the spectacular sunburst – there’s a fine image of NZ there, aspirationally placed for the return home for you and new home for family.
    Cheers!

    tree trail 1

Gidday – I like your atmospheric photo, and the image of the tree’s stems as a multiply branching trail. Set me to re-thinking what I saw into this one of my twisty willow tree this morning – not so much ‘tree trail’, as
Key trail – an image of JKey’s struggles to find ways through the many problems besetting him and the National Party.

Nah, but that looks too positive, embishus even. So instead this angle on the same willow – seems more like what’s ahead for the Key trail.

Looks like this from my doorstep this morning
There’s something of a repetitive pattern there –
Team Key’s brighter future has turned to a murky thicket, with more to come?

On request – weeping willow late this morning

Many more tears to fall before the new leaves fill in the screen

Thanks. Yes, it was good stuff. Not quite dead but they’re giving the last rites.

A good excuse to post another Ektachrome shot (also with a few trees) … the charming olde world Grafton village.
