Ah, hi Sim. Didn't realise you'd already tried. You can add up to three images per post by attaching one file at a time from your hard drive.

If you want to have another go, I'll clean up the above for you afterwards.

Puente de la Mujer, Buenos Aires.

Awesome shot to kick things off Bry. Cheers, and that reminds me I need to talk to you about a thing. See you soon, I hope. :-)

Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (actually a pretty good museum, surprising as it may sound), opposite the lion, Wanping, August 2012.

Lugou/Marco Polo Bridge - I thought I'd attached it to my first post. Oh well.

My personal favorite traveling picture I took was Grassmere from the air. A dusk flight between Dunedin and Wellington.

Taking it through a commercial flight window is why there are a few odd out of focus bits on it.

Okay, I’ll try again :P I’m gonna go with the “inclusive” New Zealand option. I’ve lived in New Zealand for 16 years, but only explored the South Island for the first time this year. I quit my job, and wandered through the South Island for two weeks with nothing much more than some hiking gear and my trusty camera. During a turbulent time in my life, it was therapeutic beyond measure.

From the hotel balcony, in the old town of Beidaihe.

The houses jumble on the hillside.

The street is set up for summer tourists - as Beidaihe pretty much always has been, at least since the foreign concession era.

The view from inside the hotel room, Beidaihe.

Checking out the view - damn, the neighbours are close.

Looking towards where Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang spend their summers...

In 2011 we went to Hawaii. It was intended as a getaway from the quakes so things like first world plumbing were a large factor in our choice of destination. It turned out to be an utterly perfect family holiday – the kids were both of an age to be easy travelling companions and to be delighted by everything.

These photos show the wreck of the USS Arizona (Pearl Harbour), Steam Vents in Volcanoes National Park and Bananas in our hotel garden (Hilo).
