Which brings us, neatly to George Washington Carver, as the humble peanut is also a legume. In his 1916 bulletin, "How to Grow the Peanut and 105 Ways of Preparing it for Human Consumption" Carver gave a short overview of peanut crop production and contained a list of recipes from other agricultural bulletins, cookbooks, magazines, and newspapers, such as the Peerless Cookbook, Good Housekeeping, and Berry's Fruit Recipes. He did not, however, include Peanut Butter which led to a conspiracy theory leading to a CIA operation involving none other than Stan Smith.

Your aggressive driver note reminded me that I saw yet another cyclist down on the side of the road on Tamaki Drive today, covered in someone's coat and a crowd attending them.

Certainly hope they were OK, a quick scan of the news hasn't shown anything...
