Are we still getting your more thorough piece Craig? It seems unlikely I'll get to many this year, with flus, holidays and work commitments, but would be good to know what to look out for on return or DVD. Might try to catch the Sam Hunt movie later on though.

This will make more sense to those on twitter, but I liked the idea, so here goes.
I/you/in two/it is true/we make a duck stew/with these words in sequence construe/that thirteen syllables seems like a lot of work, eh?

Indeed they did.

"They could put his aquarium in one of those ugly sheds on the Auckland waterfront. Heaven knows no person in their right mind would want to party inside one of those architectural eyesores."
Anyone else here remember the Hero party in the old Princess wharf before it became a big landlocked ocean liner?
Douglas Wright dance company, huge rope climbing up the walls, lasers (they were still cool back then) and a whole lot of people having a bloody good time. If they could pull something off like that in Shed 10, I might even go.
Wait, guess that might challenge the rugged rugger-heads view of 'party central'. Screw 'em. I pay rates here too.

There really should be more music videos with dancing roller skaters.
True dat.

the entire country is sick to death of it.
Are we not there yet? Please tell me it can't get worse?
Anyway, Saturday night is what it is all about. Don't care where everyone else goes to party, cause my garage grandstand and a result like that in the final will make all this rubbish pale into insignificance. It was so comprehensive it makes me worry it would be hard to better.
Still things to improve. Cowan could stop getting his head in the way of the opposition players, and he could also pass the ball above the ground from time to time. No actually, I am truly struggling to think of serious areas we were poor in.

the deeply masochistic character of Randians
The randy Randian. Has a certain ring to it.
Imagine the watering holes en route.
I can imagine them, but I sure wouldn't fancy being in one.

pedestrian access to the Bond Street overbridge
This all makes sense until you have 20,000 merry supporters leaning over the rails above the motorway. Apart from what they would hurl on to traffic, I'd have some concerns for their, and others', safety.
Mind you we have to be careful of cotton-wool rugby supporter syndrome, so as you were.
I do seriously hope someone with some gumption takes control, as the embarrassment of the RWC preparations in Auckland is becoming decidedly un-funny. Actually they couldn't organise a cake stall at a school fair. And I hate all the mileage for meat-heads this is getting. Shhh! Just ShhhTFU!

[Pretty Lights, 'Finally Moving' (Remix)]
As we speak my three little-uns are robot dancing to this track with much aplomb. Their flu-ed up old dad is smiling, so thanks.
