And, finally, sunset while SBTRKT played at Laneway yesterday. A magic hour.
The same sunset, even. Have dozens of Laneways photos, and wondering what to do with them. Too soon for another music event post?
On reflection, there was quite a collection of extremely talented female leads at the event. Well, according to my photographs there were. And Shayne Carter. Lots of Shayne Carter.

Great Sofie. Thanks.
I was thinking I would do a final thank you, and Arohanui, to everyone for this fantastic thread, which has just gone on and on, and been a great place to hang out over 'summer', IMnshO. But we could also just keep it going, forevs, eh? ;-)

Why not?. Holidays are in the eye of the beholder afterall. We have an official one Monday, but alot of folk go all over the planet all times of the year. I look forward to some Singapore shots even if it isn’t exactly a hol ;)

Plus, the title is appropriate :)

It would be good to let this conversation run longer or perhaps have a Part II, We need a space like this that is not so topic-specific and thus longer-lived that most threads on PA,
I wish I had a camera when I transported my daughter + three 18 year old gals on a camping trip yesterday, venturing down winding country roads en route to Port Waikato (where the mighty Waikato empties into the Tasman Sea). Wild country and excellent rock outcrops, and then a cafe (the Nikau Cafe) in the midde of nowhere,Maybe I can take some pics when I travel to Portand OR in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for this Geoff. We have more plans coming up, and hopefully people will find things to latch on to. The open posts have been fun though, so need to consider topics that keep this vibe going.
Daylight Savings, for example? Things you do after work, school or in the early evening that are more common in DS times. Anyway, we’ll give it some thought.
In the mean time, seems this isn’t over yet… ;-)

I'm keen on a "markets" theme.
