Swishy scape. The shake and shoot technique is so random - very happy when it gets a result like this one.

So I went back to the well lit nikau.

    Single nikau.

And the nikau becoming shadows themselves.

He may have held a civic reception for the Beatles, but Mayor Robbie had no interest in pop culture. He would never have tried to be the Hip Hop Mayor.

Hi Sofie – here’s moon cradled in a pohutukawa tree.

And waving palms with Auckland’s two stars - look closely!

Sixty seconds in the nite garden.

I’m amazed at how much the camera can capture – it was so dark down there I couldn’t really see to take the picture.

Give it a go – this is just a point and shoot on a mini tripod using 'starry night' 60 second exposure setting – you’ll be surprised at what you can do with that.

Way to go! Every point and shoot should be fitted with infrared function.

  • JacksonP, in reply to Lilith __,

The method is simple, the light you use is out of the spectrum that humans can see and the film you use is sensible to it.

I like the sound of sensible film. Sounds well flash.
