  • Emma Hart,

But can you play the violin?

  • kmont,

    This is very good news.

Thinking about how happy you can be for someone you don't even know, I would like to extend warm wishes in all directions to those who are reading that have recently overcome any of the crazy shit that life throws at us.

  • Stewart,

And I, too, am very happy to hear that you are feeling like you are back to the Emma we have come to know & love. Anything less would leave me feeling a little bit cheated.

I still look like the aftermath of a Barbie haircut

Sorry, having two daughters who wield a mean pair of scissors, this description made me snort my coffee. Glad to hear the recuperation gathers pace.

The difference between my visual field results for June and October is so profound it looks like magic –

Oh far out, best wishes and congratulations on being Adric-free.

Adric - like Hamish, it's the sort of name that's more adjective than noun.

Yes, I can drink. That was tested pretty early on in the piece. Whether or not I can drink in a way to terrify cities remains to be seen, but yeah, Chch? Jo is incoming.

And thank you all for your good wishes. PASystem has been a positive force for my recovery, however 'woo' that might sound. And hopefully, if nefarious secret planning pans out, I'll get to meet a lot more of you face to face over the next couple of months.

For a given value of 'student' - for me, anyway. Pretty sure most of my degree was in Bastard Gin or 500.

Fantastic that you are almost back to normal, if that is a word that one may apply to your very quirky, sweet self, Ms Emma.

To be honest, I'd kind of forgotten about the op, since you just sound like your old self, in print. Nevertheless, there's doubtless been much more going on behind the scenes, so It's great to hear that you've given yourself the all-clear.

+1 for the "vegetarian lesbians" imagery.
